Matthew Crasner is an instructor and coach with over ten years of experience in fighting sports, functional fitness, movement systems, combatives, self defence and Filipino martial arts. Throughout his career, Matthew has developed a unique approach to holistic coaching, focusing on all-around fitness, conditioning and well-being through movement, posture, and the art of fighting.

With a background working with people of all ages, Matthew has helped individuals overcome challenges related to burnout, depression, and movement limitations, while also guiding athletes and professionals to improve their performance.

His work as a combatives coach extends to law enforcement, security, and armed forces personnel, where he has delivered tailored training that enhances both physical and mental resilience.

Matthew’s philosophy is grounded in the belief that true fitness is functional, adaptable, and accessible to everyone, and his coaching method is designed to build confidence, strength, and agility—empowering clients to lead healthier, more balanced lives.

 

Over the past decade, Matthew has continually refined his methodology, offering a comprehensive and life-changing training experience to his clients, with a focus on personal growth, confidence building and overcoming limitations through the medium of movement, fitness and martial arts.

Professional Biography

Matthew Crasner has been a dedicated coach and trainer for over a decade, specializing in Filipino martial arts, combatives, and functional fitness. His journey in the fitness and martial arts world includes:

  • 2014: Founded Pekiti Tirsia Belgium (PTK BELGIUM), bringing the art of Filipino martial arts and combatives to the region.

  • 2016: Became a Kali/Combatives Coach at Fight Off Training Center in Wavre, Belgium, training individuals in both fighting sports and self-defense.

  • 2018: Launched the first version of his personal training business, focusing on holistic coaching and personal development through movement and martial arts.

  • 2023: Began coaching at Mix Brussels, continuing to expand his expertise and reach a wider audience.

  • 2023: Joined Aspria Royal La Rasante in Brussels as a Personal Trainer, offering tailored fitness, fighting sports and self defence programs to individuals seeking to improve their overall well-being.
